Non internet based mobile railway ticket booking

IRCTC, a public sector undertaking of the ministry of railways, will launch a pilot ticketing project through non-internet based mobile phones with effect from July 1.

An alternative method to get the PNR status over text messages is by sending the 10 digit PNR number to 9773300000 and getting the status.
