The 04098 New Delhi – Trivandrum Superfast Express Special will depart from New Delhi at 11.40 PM o­n 21.12.12 (1 trip) to reach Trivandrumat 5.45 AM the third day.While in the return direction the 04097 Trivandrum – New Delhi Superfast Express will depart from Trivandrum at 12.00 Noon o­n 27.12.12 (1 trip) to reachNew Delhiat 7.30 PM the fourth day.

Weekly Special Trains between Pune to Solapur to Pune- Bookings open

Central Railways have announced to run 8 special trains between Solapur and Pune to clear the extra rush of passengers as under:

01013 Special will leave Pune at 4.15 pm from 9.12.2012 to 30.12.2012 (Sunday) and will arrive at Solapur at 8.55 pm same day.

01014 Special will leave Solapur at 11.10 am from 9.12.2012 to 30.12.2012 (Sunday) and will arrive Pune at 3.10 pm same day.

RESERVATION: Bookings open for 01013/01014 from 7.12.2012 for the trip o­n 9.12.2012.

Halts: Kurduwadi, Jeur, Daund.

Composition: o­ne First AC cum AC-2 Tier, o­ne AC 2-tier, o­ne AC 3-tier, 7 Sleeper class, 6 general second class and 2 general second class cum guard’s brake vans.

Indian Railways to run 24 services of Bilaspur-Pune superfast special trains

The Indian Railways will run 24 services of superfast special train Pune-Bilaspur-Pune through Nagpur with the aim to clear extra rush of passengers from October 15 until the end of 2012.

Weekly Garib Rath Special trains btn Pune and Chennai Central

Central Railways have announced to run 8 Weekly Specials between Pune and Chennai Central for Passengers during Winter season.

Train No. 06028 Special will leave Chennai Central at 16.00 hrs o­n every Wednesday from 5.12.2012 to 26.12.2012 and will arrive Pune at 13.00 hrs next day.

Train No. 06027 Special will leave Pune at 14.15 hrs o­n every Thursday from 6.12.2012 to 27.12.2012 and will arrive Chennai Central at 11.35 hrs next day.

Halts - Daund, Solapur, Gulbarga, Wadi, Yadgir, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Gooty, Tadipatri, Muddanuru, Yerraguntla, Kadapa, Nandalur, Razampet, Koduru, Renigunta, Arakkonam, Perambur (for 06027 o­nly)

New passenger train between Miraj and Kurduwadi

A new daily passenger train between Kurduwadi- Miraj with effect from 4.12.2012 and will halt at all stations between Kurduwadi and Miraj.

51437 Passenger will leave Kurduwadi at 11.50 hrs daily with effect from 4.12.2012 and arrive Miraj at 16.25 hrs same day.

51438 Passenger will leave Miraj at 06.05 hrs daily with effect from 4.12.2012 and arrive Kurduwadi at 10.35 hrs same day.

Halts: Laul, Modlimb, Ashti, Pandharpur, Bohali, Bamni, Sangola, Wasud, Javale, Mahsoba Dongargaon, Jath Road, Gulvanchi, Dhalgaon, Langerpeth, Kavathe Mahankal, Agran Dhulgaon, Salgare, Belanki, arag and Bolwad.

SWR Bangalore Trains to have some additional coach

South Western Railway has augmented Bangalore-Chennai-Bangalore Lalbagh Express (no. 12608/12607) and Bangalore-Chennai-Bangalore Daily Express (no. 12610/12609) with one general second-class chair car each for six months from March 28 to September 27. According to a press release, the two trains will now have 22 coaches each.
